We were approached by Nathan to help bring a selection of cards from his original childhood binder back to their best possible condition. At the time, none of us quite realised just how dramatic the transformation was going to be , so much so that we didn’t even capture “before” photos on this project.
Each card underwent a full clean and polish, carefully removing years of surface grime and dulling to reveal the colour, shine and detail that had been hidden away for decades. In addition, we carried out minor, sympathetic repairs, including stabilising a damaged corner on the Gengar to improve both presentation and long-term preservation.
The result was a genuine glow-up, the same well-loved cards, but looking brighter, cleaner and far closer to how they would have appeared when they were first pulled from the pack.
