Returns Policy

1. Introduction
This Return & Refund Policy sets out the circumstances under which you may request a
refund or cancellation when purchasing services from Curio Card Care Services Ltd (“we”,
“us”, “our”).
Please read this policy in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions.
2. Services Provided
We offer card cleaning, polishing, pre-grading preparation, and restoration services for
trading cards and collectibles. These are customised, service-based activities and not
physical goods.
As such, standard return policies for goods do not apply. Instead, your rights are governed
by consumer legislation for services.
3. Cancellation Rights (Consumers Only)
If you are a Consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of entering
into the contract, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
• If you cancel before work has started, you will receive a full refund.
• If you cancel after work has started, you will be liable for the cost of services
already performed up to the point of cancellation, and only the balance (if any) will
be refunded (less postage costs).

4. Refunds for Unsuitable or Refused Services
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services if:
• The card(s) are not suitable for the requested service.
• The card(s) received materially differ from the description or images provided for
quotation.
• We reasonably believe that the service requested could cause damage beyond
acceptable risk.
In such cases:
• If no work has commenced, a full refund (less return postage costs) will be issued.
• If work has started, a partial refund may be issued, reflecting the proportion of work
completed.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided where:
• You are dissatisfied with the outcome due to limitations already explained in our
Terms & Conditions (e.g., whitening, creases, or factory defects that cannot be
repaired).
• Cards suffer damage inherent to the restoration process (we make clear all services
carry an inherent risk).
• Loss or damage occurs in transit to/from our premises (customers are responsible
for tracked and insured postage).
6. Refund Process
If you believe you are entitled to a refund:
1. Contact us in writing at info@curiocardcare.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your
returned card(s).
2. Provide your order number, details of the service, and the reason for your request.

a refund is due.
4. Approved refunds will be processed using your original payment method within 14
days of agreement.
